What to do before your Tattoo Appointment
Try to get adequate sleep the night before.
Unless prescribed, avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements right before your appointment, such Aspirin, NSAIDs, Fish Oil, and Vitamin E. Do not stop taking prescribed medications without consulting with your physician.
Avoid consuming alcohol the day of and day before your appointment.
Avoid tanning, waxing or anything that might discolor or irritate the skin in the area that will be tattooed for 3 days prior.
Do not work out right before your appointment.
Eat a balanced meal and stay hydrated.
Please shower and use deodorant, but go easy on any cologne or perfume.
Do not apply numbing agents unless previously approved.
Please wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area that you do not mind possibly getting ink on.
If you tend to feel cold, you may want to bring a light jacket, sweatshirt or blanket.
Feel free to bring snacks or beverages. You are also welcome to order delivery for longer sessions.
Feel free to bring headphones to zone out to your favorite show, move, book, or podcast on your phone or tablet.
Payment is due at each session, so remember to bring your wallet. Cash is the preferred method of payment.
If you have children or pets, make arrangements for someone to look after them somewhere else during your appointment.
If you are feeling at all sick (cough, fever, etc), have been in close contact with someone who has COVID 19, or you have tested positive for COVID 19 within 6 days before your appointment, please reschedule.
If you have recently recovered from COVID 19 within 7-10 days, please wear a mask.
